Turkey Avocado Wraps

I love these Turkey Avocado Wraps!

They are one of my favorite low calorie, quick and easy healthy meals that you can make in 10 minutes or less, and of course they are super yummy!

My clients always ask me, “what should I eat” or “what do you eat?” Or have excuses like, “I never have time to cook” or “I don’t know what to make” etc.

So now as often as I can I will post some of my own personal favorite quick, easy and healthy meals.  Believe me, I struggle to squeeze everything into my days as well, but when it comes to food – or food 4 soul, as I like to refer to it – the meals need to be quick and easy BUT chockfull of nutrition!

So break out your skillet and a few lettuce leaves – it’s time for Turkey Avocado Wraps!

Here’s all you need:

Makes 4-5 Turkey Avocado Wraps

2 patties of lean ground turkey 

4 large romaine lettuce leafs

2 chopped Cucumbers

2 large chopped avocado

10 cherry tomatoes sliced in half 

Add any other vegetable you enjoy – like shredded carrots, alfalfa sprouts, shredded zucchini etc.

 1.     In a large bowl mix turkey with one egg, 1/3 rolled oats, dash of almond milk. 

2.     Heat olive oil in a skillet, add turkey – cook at medium heat for about 10 minutes or until turkey turns light brown.

3.     Place lettuce leaf on a large plate.  Scoop in turkey along the entire leaf, add chopped cucumbers, avocado and tomatoes. 

4. Season with any approved herbs, spices and condiments such as cumin, turmeric, basil, ground pepper, sea salt, tamari, cayenne pepper etc. 

For a spicy taste add salsa, hot sauce etc.

Calories per leaf  = 275 – 325
